National Coordinator

Susan is a manager at Biblica Kenya. She is in Hospitality and Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Management University of Africa and a Certificate from Kenya Utalii College. Her experience of 25 years in the hospitality industry, dealing with people from all walks of life and nationalities informs her people skills at community level.
She is a Peace Ambassador and the vision bearer of Uasin Gishu Peace Forum. Her passion for children and people confirms her personality profiling as a peacemaker.
Her mission will be complete once Uasin Gishu County becomes the most peaceful and accommodating county in Kenya, as well as an example emulated and replicated in the other 46 counties.
County Chairman.

Dr. Samson K. Ndege is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Public Health, Moi University. He is the Deputy Chief of Party at the Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare (AMPATH), He has a wealth of experience in the field of community health and training of health care professionals.
He holds a Masters degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, USA and recognition as a Public Health Specialist by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board (KMPDB). He has an MBChB degree from the University of Nairobi and a postgraduate Diploma in Epidemiology and Biostatisitics from the Institute of Tropical Medicine, Anterwpen, Belgium.
Dr. Ndege has been a Director, of the then Kenya Medical Supplies Agency, now Authority (KEMSA) and a member of the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board (KMPDB). He is also the past National Secretary, Kenya Medical Association (KMA).
He provides leadership at the community level where he is the current Vice Chairman, Chemase Secondary School and past Chairman, Kapsabet County Referral Hospital.
His plays a significant leadership role in Uasin Gishu Peace Forum.
County Coordinator

Ruth is a Community Development Officer at the County Government of Uasin Gishu. She is a seasoned community leader and a renowned farmer. She has represented the County farmers in international exchange programs including The Netherlands and South Africa.
She has served in the Kenya dairy Board as the County Treasurer and undergone several community trainings organized by various institutions; JICA, UNDP, Peace Corp and Kenya Institute of Governance.
Ruth is a community leader who’s actively involved in the affairs of the society as demonstrated by being a board member of several schools in the county, namely: Kerotet Girls High Sch, Tachasis Girls High Sch, Moiben High Sch and Tugen Estate Secondary Sch.
Her involvement and knowledge of the county gives Uasin Gishu Peace Forum great mileage in being able to clearly understand the County landscape. As a County Coordinator of the Forum, she offers great grassroot leadership.
Treasurer

Mrs. Mary Kiprotich Kamore is the Senior Public Relations Officer at Africa International University. She’s a holder of a Master’s Degree in Diplomacy and Foreign Policy, a Bachelors in Tourism Management both from Moi University, Diploma in Marketing Management (KIM) and Diploma in Institutional Management from Kisumu Polytechnic.
Prior to joining AIU, she worked with different organizations, Deputy National Director Christian for Peace in Africa, Marketing Executive Emrok Tea, Marketing Executive Max-Global (Kenya Chapter), Marketing Executive Asis Photo Lab (Kodak Outlet)
She enjoys engaging in social activities such as mentoring young people in high schools and colleges as well as reaching out to the less fortunate in the society as a way of giving back to the community. She’s a peace ambassador who injects her great wealth of knowledge to the Forum and its activities.
Trustee

Brian holds a Bachelor of Architectural Studies degree from the University of Nairobi where is also still pursuing Bachelor of Architecture degree. He is also a Private Pilot License Holder certified by the KCAA.
He is the youth representative in the Forum. He has been involved with numerous youth projects including assisting formation of various youth enterprises and co-ordination and set up numerous youth programs. He champions for Peace in Uasin Gishu County, especially in Moiben Constituency and its environs.
Trustee

Dr. Sitienei is a Lecturer and a Consultant Radiologist at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital seconded by Moi University. She is a refined Radiologist with training from Moi Universty and Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU),Oregon,USA.
She is a young budding radiologist who also sits in the board of directors of Eldoret Radiology Specialists whose subsidiary Radiocare delivers specialized interventional radiology services in the Northern Rift.
Dr Sitienei lives by a mantra that every day is an opportunity to bless somebody else and hence strives to do a daily good deed. She is loved by many, her patients and their relatives and all to who interact with her for her down to earth charming personality and professionalism.
To the Uasin Gishu Peace Forum, she has helped highlight some of the needs of the Uasin Gishu community and bring it to the fore for the leaders in different capacities to address, UG Peace Forum included. She believes that if people’s basic needs are met then cohesion is achieved in a community.
Trustee

Samuel Karanja is a highly focused Businessman whose forte in Private Investment, Nurturing Talent amongst the youth and Family Leadership skills sets him on a high pedestal in the community.
Samuel engages in training and in disciplinary activities geared for youth development in business and interpersonal skills: a profound experience derived from participation in seminars and forums on leadership skills.
Karanja is involved in Leadership and Youth Ministry training at Kenya Assemblies of God, Eldoret. He’s currently undertaking studies in at a Kenya Assemblies Bible College.
Trustee

Carolyne Jerotich Koech holds a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management from Moi University; Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from Strathmore University and a Diploma in Technical Education from KTTC.
Koech is a dynamic, self-driven, highly focused, motivated and a seasoned Hospitality Trainer – currently at the Technical University of Kenya in the School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies.
Her career-experience, exposure and passion in Hospitality Industry drives Carolyn to engage most of her time in training people in all aspects hospitality, the crux of life. She’s passionate on matters Peace.
