Tree PlantingUGPF seeks to uphold the preservation of environmental in acknowledging that human life depends on the earth for its sustenance and livelihoods.

With environmental depletion, communities suffer from the harsh results of drought and water shortage which is a known source of conflict in our society.   

SDG goal no. 15 on Life on Land calls to protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.

UGPF will strive to bring awareness by engaging the community to implement this goal at the County level by carrying out any activities and programs that will lead to realizing the Life on Land goal.  Our Environment program will intentionally and pro-actively work towards: – 

  1. Promoting sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems,
  2. Sustainably manage forests,
  3. Combat desertification,
  4. Halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity.
